The 200 year old Historic Stone House Inn offers its Royal Heritage Ballroom as a unique wedding venue. The legacy and historical significance of The Stone House continues to be celebrated and its history remembered. Built in 1822 by Colonel Andrew Stewart in Pennsylvania's scenic Laurel Mountains, it was first known as the Fayette Springs Hotel, a popular resort and dance hall.
As one of the original wayside inns along the National Road, guests, comprised of weary waggoners and travelers, came from miles away to enjoy banjo picking and luxurious accommodations. And later, it became known for exactly what it is, a stone house. Over the years, The Stone House has survived grandiose remodels and bustling kitchens, with a singular focus has withholding the test of time: providing quality experience, fine dining, and service to its guests.
The Stone House is a staple to Farmington and the surrounding mountains, and remains a destination to many.
